A product of '86, Italian-born Fabio Giannelli has spent exactly half of his life doing what he does best: making dancefloors sweat. But it was the year 2006 that brought him his first official release. Since then he's been on the radar of the heavy hitters like Mathias Kaden, Luciano, Martin Landsky, Laurent Garnier, Tiefschwarz, Ripperton and many more. He's just appeared on Kindisch with his 'Mind Blowing EP', and more recently Get Physical's 'Full Body Workout Vol. 9'. Now he's back again, this time with his solid 3 track EP 'Let The Spirit Sing'.
'Let The Spirit Sing' is a deep bubbly piece, with eerie vocals threaded into the groove. Mr. Giannelli takes us on a ride here, from the earthy bass tones, climbing the delicate piano bits to the cosmic pads. A must play for any serious evening out.
Things get heavier with 'Swinging Pearls', hefty kicks and eccentric synth drive the track home. Prominent claps stand out, adding to the analogue feel of the track.
Synth and piano open 'Maintain' before the bass drops. A strong groove and genre bending synth additions caught our attention fairly quick, bringing us to our feet. The track pumps and generates movement wherever needed.
